Morning, blue sky here and forecast 30 degrees.  I got cooked yesterday morning and 3 hours was enough for me, I was glad of the rain and cloud tbh.
dog to vets for his booster then a day of shade for me I think.

Stay safe and keep drinking.

Morning all - roasting here already! Nice easy day of various hedge and shrub trimming and a medium cherry reduction. Promised the lads a lighter day after two full on days reducing a large and a huge Monterey - was a killer in the heat

Who doesn’t heat with wood?

On a typical day, when it’s an everything off site job I’ll bring 1 and a half to two tonnes of pine or some rubbish back here.
I’ve had 4 tonnes back this week alone.
The premium stuff is either given away to friends or neighbours (of me or the client) or put to one side for me to split and store for our use.
We are fast approaching the point where I’m splitting wood for whoever buys the house of us in a few years!

Do you do your hot water with wood?

I'm the same with the house supply. I'm hoarding it like trees might go extinct, while trying to leave the place. What's the plan btw? Downsize there? Back to Sussex and while away the days playing backgammon with Stubby?

Nothing to say on Micky wood pile stubby . Very unusual i always love the banter.

He has more than he needs for himself ( as he explained ) and plenty to give away so why not make some coin from the rest ? . And that's all I have to say about that . 🙂

Three pints of coffee, four snickers bars and perusing digger catalogues with my feet up. I didn't choose self employment so I can be out melting in this heat.

NB I didn't choose self employment at all really. I'm just fairly unemployable.
