Think this is the way Im going to go due to us often having fires on site. Dont fancy putting holes in a nice (and possibly expensive) jacket.

Ive been wearing my Berghaus Trango Extreme this week, but thats because I know we wont be burning!!

I have an old Hi-vi ish oregon jacket. Its the one that came out when they brought out thier waterproof chainsaw trousers. It still keeps me warm and dry got no rips and its nearly 6 years old!

I've got a Hiflex jacket and I don't even consider it as a waterproof when it starts to rain, as it's only 'water resistant.' I reach for my stien jacket when the great British weather does its thing.
