A few from the past few weeks. Working alongside a tractor trailer set up/motor manual squad with a lot more variety in work.

Even got an industrial alloy rake out on the fir job and felt like  @Doug Tait for a day, gardening….

Currently in selective hardwood thinnings/hand stacking would get more photos or videos of the stunts being pulled but my camera is a bit knackered.
A bit like my back after this week

Good stuff Jake . How far up the slope to the landing ?

Think it’ll be 400 metres if not more.

Some will be handfelled and some felled by the Menzi Muck off a traction winch and left out for chokering.

A wee log splitting job, woodland clear up kind of thing.
Took me and my father 10 hours or so to cut, shift it all about 30-40 metres down a track in a wheel barrow to the splitting area and split it.

Few other odds and ends done as well for a nice local woman. What a difference to working in commercial forestry.
