Changing Handsaw Handle Colours

I use a Silky Zubat but wish the handle was a different colour for those times when you drop it and need to find it.

Has anyone tried to paint theirs or add coloured string or anything to make it stand out a bit more?

Put some orange tape on the handle?

Painting the handle seems like a solution to a problem that shouldn’t exist. If you’re regularly dropping it then stick a bungee strop to the handle.

Handsaw on a bungee once seemed like a good idea to me... In reality it just means when you drop your saw there's a 50/50 chance it will snag on something and then fire back at your face/arse at high speed.

What about some bright heat shrink on the handle ?. Won't go sticky like tape.

I use a bright spray paint usually blue or red band on things like axe handles, 7lb hammers etc that I take into the woods

or tie on a small piece of neon coloured rope

I don't drop it that often but when I do its always a dark hedge or similar.  Think I'm going to try shank wrap or ribbon.  Thanks.

I like the idea of changing the handles to bright colour, like you say don't drop it often but when it's in to a big bramble and ivy mess it would be nice to find it more easily.
