I thought the same as you, but as soon as the forks arrived I could see why they are £700.

I can see the bag lifter being an idea but its another lump to take on the van, shift about, tidy up. I still think develop technique grabbing the bag itself,  using the bag handles is making the bag lower anyway.

 

Or put less in the bag and take the tailgate off the van, which is what I had to do Friday.

It’s interesting that no one has really commented on this method of just grabbing the bag. As previously stated I have regularly done this. 

Why all this head scratching and time consuming designing of ideas when all you have to do is grab the bag?!
