I bet your arse twitched when it came off the hinge and rolled off that hedge.

 

All part of the plan. Fell it onto the hedge to turn the limb that was going to kick it towards the shed, as it rolls the limb will pass further round and the theory was turn the tree midair so it landed on a flatter, less major limbs side. Although i did take a big breathe as id planned for it to hold on the hinge longer, which it didnt.

Ash tree fell. Damage from storms and decided to straight fell between two Prunus.

 

 

That's a great effort mate but I've got that beat :D

 

Huge spruce this morning. Needed rigging down but forgot my spikes... There wasn't more than an inch between the chipper and gate.. Bit of a back lean over a motorway and some huge voltage power lines. Here have a look for yourself's :/
