Student Looking To Move After College Course

Hi,

 

Im currently 17 studying Level 3 Forestry and Arboriculture at Moulton college in Northamptonshire. I have high interests in moving abroad with work after my course finishes in June 2024. I have been working in the industry for about a year now and when I finish it will be 2 years experience with the college course as well.

 

I was just wondering if I should stay here with my current firm and gain more experience and then move or move after I finish my course in June 2024.

 

Advice would be appreciated, would love to hear what others have to say on this as I'm stuck in-between.

Where are you looking to go?

I’d stay a while and learn your trade properly, that said, I didn’t. I went to Spain and found work and got more experience, that was only a bit of luck due to meeting a Mancunian in a bar who was running a firm over there.

Well, I suppose it’s up to you.
Plenty of work in Oz at the moment.

A lot depends on how you feel you’re progressing where you are atm.

Finish your course, a year’s experience isn’t interesting

Finnish the course, uk tickets seem to be highly regarded across most of the world.

Once you have finished travel, you will learn different ways of working and partying. At some point you will settle down and not get to travel the same so go and make the most of youth.

Company’s in Oz, Nz and Canada always looking for staff. No language barrier and they recognise Uk qualifications.

Finish your course first though.

I understand the attraction of going abroad, I still think about it. For the long term, learn your trade well while you are being paid. It will pay dividends.
