Not really grey, the legislation is completely clear.

As the Stones sang "You can't always get what you want". Now I've got that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day...

At least it's a great song could have been some pop trash!

This is my friends tree btw.... The council didn't give it.... That is a main road with a school opposite. I also said that the tree was of poor form... I also said because of future damage to the wall. And they only mentioned the wall in the objection.

Fair enough the legislation is clear, just have to be sure you want to get into the argument.

On the other hand fell it and stop correspondence, council probably won't notice.

How would that argument go?

"You felled a tree that we asked you not to."

"Did it have a TPO?"

"Well, no"

"Goodbye"

I guess I'm thinking ahead to next time you ask them something.

"I'm wondering if you would object to this tree being felled"

"Ah it's you again. Here's a TPO. Now, what were you asking?"

It’s a shitbag and the council are playing silly buggers.

Get it felled.

If you get any grief tell them I said it was ok.

That's what 'my friend' wanted to hear... Cheers Mark ;•)

A novel concept, the 'revenge TPO'.
