Exactly same thing happened to me, ****************ing waiting ages for the harness when it was advertised they would have it in stock 2 or 3 days after I ordered it. Old harness was out of LOLER. Like if they don’t have it stock then just put “out of stock” 

I went with them because they were £20 or £30 cheaper for the harness but I would have rather paid that and got it off someone else if I had of known there would be such a ridiculous wait time.

fella from my work ordered his tm pro and got it the same week off treekit.

I just ordered 45m of poison ivy off treekit  today and they are dispatching it in the morning

Jones were good, especially at the time when Justin was a visitor here, he was helpful and if you mentioned your arbtalk user name you got a discount when ordering over the phone. I wouldn't order from them again now though.  I would worry that they'd have my money for months and then go bust. Honeys seem much more on it and with promoting their business, apparently they even splice ropes for jones. That's crazy 🤣

Fr. jones…. For several years I ordered stock from. Several different companies in the Arb/ tree surgery profession…  we are so busy with work we / just tend to Google stock ordering..  the company that has let us down more is , fr. jones… a complete waist of time, I want something.. I want it… I’m not ordering for 6 months times.. if they have the item in stock.. I we require that.. I’ll buy it…. & it will be delivered in 2 days.. lovely….   What a load of rubbish with fr. jones… complete waist of time….   They have no stock, but take your money.. expect a delivery in 2 days..  chase the delivery after 5 .. deliver in 6-8 months….

Yeah - FR Jones basically went on an all-out mission to destroy the market for all other chainsaw and arb kit suppliers by ‘stacking high and selling cheap’.
I can’t help but think suppliers are now sick of having their products devalued and are possibly holding back supply. Either that or FR Jones are struggling for money and don’t pay their suppliers.

I won’t spend money with them again, too risky.

Funnily enough I have never had a problem with orders from FR Jones, ordered some stuff between Christmas and New Year from their sale, when they were shut and delivered before the New Year.
