Today I had a leaflet pushed thro my door from my "local" person W%$£"(*&^%s tree Care and Landscapes. 0800 ..........

 

Pruning: To reduce size, remove crossed, diseased and shaded branches to increase yield.

 

Lopping: Removal of diseased or problem limbs

 

Felling: Diseased, dangerous or unwanted trees sectioned or removed.

 

Topping: To reduce wind or snow damage or to clear telephone or electricity cables.

 

Pollarding: Cut back to main trunk on suitable trees.

 

Hedges: Lowered trimmed and tidied.

 

Oh, and he will also take care of fencing, slabbing, gravelling and turfing.

 

I just love his technical explanations........................

I wonder what the utility people think.......................

wow i worked next door to a guy yesterday who had a firm with a leaflet exactly the same as that and they did his trees what an abortion! every cut was torn and there was nice hanging snapped cut branches left in the tree too....what really annoyed me was i commented on what nice trees they where when i quoted for the job now they are ruined! rouge traders!
