Anything from £50 a month and some logs to a reasonable farmer to £500 per week to some greedy ****************.

By far your best bet is to get out there and ask around.

I rent about 100 square meters of a barn/workshop with no power (but lighting) at my end but 3ph at the other end I can use now and again. And 100 square meters of hard standing for the grand total of £140 a month. 😁

I get to store similar giving them good quality hardwood logs and use of the chipper when available. I have tried offering money but they were happy to carry on this arrangement,  which works great for me.

It’s finding one that’s the problem, I had one in Suffolk for £50/week with outside storage, can’t find one here in the Staffordshire Moorlands for love nor money. I’m special though.., fill ya boots Trigg.

As a farmer, unless it's unused shed space I would suggest asking about outside space for a shipping container.

Simple, secure and movable if things don't work out.
