I wouldn't  bother pissing about  removing stumps from small areas for conservation purposes

 

Regen will back back in no time anyway unless all the trees are removed from a larger surrounding area

 

Sounds like you need some animals grazing the site other wise it will be like fighting against the tide.

 

Saying the above alot of conservation practice does seem to be totally bonkers (imo)  similar nonsense.

 

Have you seen theese tree pullers thought they were a neat idea not used them though
