you may do a search about this. i remember reading something about this on this forum a while ago and dont think it was a sucess if you are going to use the bags a number of times.

if you are going to be cheap and ruff then do it properly mate, stanley knife a few big slashes on them, job done:sneaky2::biggrin:

 

A nice burn't round hole is lot nicer than a slash!!:001_tt2:

I had a dabble with these eyelets. They go up to 66mm which is a tad over 2 inches in old money.

 

I expected them to tear out but the way they are applied grips the fabric like a Yorkshireman holding a fiver, which is about what it cost to make a bag into a colander if memory serves.

Trade secret here;

 

Ever since i started big bags, ive been cutting holes in with a knife and put bags on a pallet, cut some in the base and line them up with the gaps in the pallet. Pallets with wider gaps are better:thumbup1:
