One thing to remember, big rattle guns need a big feed pipe, the little coily airline pipe won't feed enough air.

Apart from that, it will power nail and staple guns, pump up tyres and clean chainsaws via an air line. All arb types should have one!!

With the advances in battery tools, air impact wrenches are obsolete. 
 

As regards air flow- yes, bigger hoses are a must, and also the pcl XF quick fittings- which thankfully seem to be standard even on cheap compressors these days.

I’ve got the 50ltr Sgs had it about three years with no issues, good customer service if you ring them , they send them with the euro coupling that was the only pain swapping over the old ones

I find with mine If you are only pumping up your truck tiers you can use it strait away . Most will go into the tire and some  into the tank. When you have done this a couple of times there is enough in the tank to use an air line to blow out filters etc with out turning it on.

Whilst it says 1-2 week back order, why is the whole thing cheaper than just the replacement pump motor that's listed under the listing?.

I had a cheap Screwfix compressor 24 litres that lasted about 7 years, replaced with a half decent machine mart compressor that the outlet pipes snapped off in the hot weather after about three years. I replaced that with a Hyundai silent compressor for just over £150 and I've been really impressed with it. It's nice to be able to work next to it on saws and be able to hear yourself think....and not jump out of your skin when the motor kicks in 😂

It looks like a bigger version of my £45 24 litre one. It has been pretty much faultless in the 5 years I have had it, run it daily for most of that time. The only thing that failed was a thick rubber diaphragm which was some sort of pressure cut off and got a spare for £10 as it is a generic..."slap your company name on me" type.

Better than the £120 screwfix one I had before.

It is a bit noisy but....£45.....you can easily do that on a meal for two! I still don't know why it was so cheap as it went up to double my price a few days later....probably a mistake....and they delivered it for free

I doesn't seem to come with hose or accessories either so they're an extra cost to factor in.
