Husq 540iXP motor failure

Cheers for all replies. Bafflingly the next afternoon I handed it to mate who was going to drop it off at ag merchants, and after a few squeezes it started again. So, iffy trigger of connection somewhere is all

I was looking for an ascender to go on my spikes and didn't really resolve that. Not absolutely sure this is the one I saw but here

I guess if Husqvarna do it then any dealer could order the part though?

Sorry this is just not right, dealers should NOT be retailing these to the public, it was made very clear it was a dealer ONLY job to take the batteries apart.

I assumed that there would be that kind of sentiment from Husqvarna- hence the lack of battery parts thus far…

 

As luck would have it, I don’t remember ever entering into any agreement with Husqvarna or it’s dealers about not opening batteries, so that’s all good.

@adw just for research purposes*, how much would you guys charge to undo 4 standard screws, switch a cracked bli200x cover for an uncracked one, and screw it all back together?

 

*asking for a friend
