Like many, but not enough of the bridges it’s been restored. No need for iron wearing strips now.

Very true the historical officers can be a bit hit and miss in terms of the way it's restored.

 

Guessing you missed the whirlpool at bollington a few weeks back then.

Didn’t know about Bollington, was it a breach that caused the whirlpool?

There's a few videos on YouTube.

 

Leak in the bed of the canal into a culvert used to drain down the canal. They ended up dumping a few tonnes of clay to keep things open until winter stoppages comes around.
