beam axles same as landy so good offroad with bonus of front limited slip differential and rear difflock and will seat 5 6'6 blokes comfortably if needed plus large loadspace

with 3 extra spare seats

As you all know i am a landy man, but for this job i wouldnt even consider anything but a disco 3 or a toyota landcruiser. Forget the hilux they ar ea waste of time in my experience, and totally unsuited to your application. Mitsubishi l200 is not much different to a toyota hilux, and dont get me started on nissans.......The old patrol was pretty good, but only buy a nissan now if you want yo look like a hairdresser i reckon. TBH the older landcruiser is about the ultimate fot your application, and good for 300k easily. Good luck with this minefield mate.LOL

ive never seen a hairdresser driving a navara, ive had a navara for the last 4 years and very happy with it towing, off road and comfort, i personally dont like landys but i dont run them down because everyone has their own views on what their ideal truck is.

I would say Defender 110, but you wanted comfort so go for a disco, series 2 td5 would be best for towing and comfort for commuting. Still excellent off road.
