Who does everyone get their spare parts from? I've used DIY spare parts.com and they are taking ages.

Everyone pretty much uses L and S Engineers for online parts supply but parts from all places are taking a while to arrive, i ordered some fuel pipes for a dolmar from the dealer up the road and they took 6 weeks to arrive, I usually get them with in 5 days of ordering.

Yup, L&S...they purchase direct from the manufacturer so can usually advise if there will be any supply issues. Usually good for most manufacturer types apart from Echo.

I used to do work for the Director of L and S Engineers, taming his very large and splendid, but overgrown garden. He is a really nice guy. He started the business twenty odd years ago I think. They sell a hell of a lot of other stuff as well as chainsaw spares. He used to be able to get me anything I needed pretty much, at an extremely fair price. Shame I no longer work for him .........

My mate has replaced the breather on a 346xp but it seems to not be sealing around the tank. What would be the best thing to use to do this?

Which breather are we referring too? the early breather consisted of two white pellets, small went in first followed by a larger one, they look like an aspirin, the later one was an small white assembly , these are still used today on many models and sure you can retro fit.
