Thing is Les, recent events in Venezuela have dispelled any lingering doubts about any moral superiority of the US compared to the Ruskies.

 

They are just much better at taking over countries.

Whilst I get what you are saying Mick Venezuela don't have the military might that the Russians have/had .

I am comparing Venezuela to Ukraine, not Russia.

Yet after 4 years they cannot even take the donbas. Poorly trained and under equipped troops.

 

Putin knows he can brain wash his people and call up another 500k

Even so , Ukraine are now top of the pile when it comes to modern warfare . The rest of the world powers are looking to them for drone tech .

Yea but no but Les If it was Venezuela they would have been punched in the face by Ukraine and finished .

The Ukraine had also been expecting another invasion since the Russians took Crimea - they have even had chance to write it into law not to concede land to them (something like that), Venezuela were taken a bit by surprise.
