Hi all, am looking for a house to buy and this looks great but the gorgeous weeping willow tree is 7 meters away from the house (about 22 feet) any advice? Shall I forget about this and avoid the trouble?

in case soil location could make a difference for this, it is located in Gillingham, Medway, Kent (UK)

At the risk of incurring further stabbing wit from Khriss... surely a house of that tender age (1960s/1970s?) will have foundations designed to withstand the roots of a diddy little willow like that at 7m...?

Aren't we supposed to be encouraging the growing of trees where possible?

Personally I wouldn't be worried about it but I would keep the tree to its current size or thereabouts
