Possibly better Googling the type of wood and necessary shape to make it better than dodgy rotten S/H side pieces.
You’ll need to reset the cutting edges and get the rust off too.

Have chuffing arms like popeye cross cutting back and fourth with that all day! No wonder your running an injury of such magnitude! [emoji6][emoji16]

There was a chap at the last APF show with several  crosscut and pit saws he had reconditioned for show and for sale, they were like new. He may be at the next one? Or details could be in the catalogue of the show - someone might still have a copy.
