I saw the (my) first article load of Xmas trees on the M6 last week, and passed four wages and drags on the M6 and up into Scotland yesterday afternoon!  No doubt I end up with one of those - no needles left by boxing day!

People do it for saw logs , fire wood , fencing , etc etc . Not that daft . 🙂

Yes cls etc and building timber obviously ain’t daft (apart from the current high prices) but Christmas trees are and personally find it completely pointless .although I guess there’s a small chance some of them could be used for biomass if they are dumped in council tips but I think that’s only wood not garden stuffs

All a daft idea people paying money for dead trees  .Had an idea for a while renting them out in pots then plant them for timber when they too big .sure it would be popular with the latest the eco friendly malarkeys

Bit late to the party Jack on the renting out in pots, plenty doing that already
