hi

i'm starting a forestry and arb course in september and we are required to have ppe

i thought i'd start looking now as i'm 6'4 and know some things like this can be a pain to get hold of

so i was wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a size chart for the SIP talfit trousers

and wondering if there are companys other than SIP and stretch air that do tall fit trousers

i was also wondering if anyone could tell me if many places stock size 14 boots or whether these will have to be ordered in

thanks

I'm just about 6'4", and have no trouble finding tall fit trousers. Just bought a pair of Oregon Fjordland trousers (type A) 36-38"waist long leg and they are fit just so. Maybe worth a look to see if they do a Type C if you are doing aerial work.

there was a pair of size 14 boots on here not so long ago, i dont think they sold, stick a thread up. and there are loads of huge arbs like you and andy mate so you will soon get trousers, my old man used to get my mum to sew extensions onto his(6foot8) back in the day, now the old sneaky just wears his chaps lol.

Andy, the Fjordlands are only available in Type A at the moment. No word yet of type C being manufactured.

Dent, Stretch-AIR do a +7cm longer length in their Type C's and the size 14 boots, I think you may need to special order these. We recently ordered a special size for a customer, but the lead time was quite a few weeks.

The size 14 boots for sale on here turned out to be a size 13.....

We keep the long leg S/airs in stock if you want to come in and try them, I should have some big boots in as well or if you let me know beforehand I can get them in for you.

Hope this helps.
