Well I wouldn't choose to run the marathon in them, but I've had no trouble wearing them for a couple of tanks of fuel through the saw plus a bit of shifting logs and tidying the mess.

Don't grab the chain and pull backwards on the bar and you'll never slip off and take a chunk out a finger, and gloves aren't needed.

What's the AV on the 135?  If it's springs, maybe try without, if it's rubber then get gloves.

AV?

Edit, anti vibration rating..........noob🤫

3.7 / 3.5m/s² (Front / Rear Handles)

LowVib featured on this model adds comfort to the user by the effective anti-vibration dampeners which absorb vibrations.

Anti vibration mounts.  Husky are known for all smooooooooothness as they use proper springs unlike the German creamsicles. Less important on a small saw, but if at all sensitive you'll notice the buzz.  Gloves help.

Husky 135 vibes are on par or slightly better than the 181 I’d say. You just need a decent pair of work gloves. If the vibes were that bad you needed anti vibration gloves you should be looking for a new saw anyway!

So it’s a paid job, not on your property…
Do you have anyone else with you?
Or do you plan on working alone?

Hi there.  The chap recently built the house and paid me to install the cinema.  In the "woods" to the rear of the property there are quite a few trees.  We had a chat about them, and he wants them gone.  I asked if I could have a few to cut up for firewood, and he's offered me as much as I want.

After I have taken what I want he plans to get some heavy machinery in and level the lot.

Obviously I don't know the circumstances but some words come to mind " felling licence " TPO, conservation area ,  amount per calendar  month , extraction etc etc etc ....
