Interested to know please what someone would be willing to pay for a crate of kiln dried hardwood delivered to their doorstep.

Less than 20% moisture.

Crate measurement:  Height (1220mm), Length (1200mm), Width (1100mm)

A bit brutal. How come?

There simply is not any need to transport kiln dried wood half way round the world. When for many burning wood is seen as an eco zero-carbon option the Caron footprint on this must be horrendous. It’s bad enough there is folk shipping in kiln dried wood from Eastern Europe.

Agree totally .

I wouldn't buy imported wood either. If it was British grown probably £120-150. I'm used to dealing with loose cube so that's a guess.

I, like most on here don't buy logs, I supply my own logs from my work.
Apart from the ridiculous carbon footprint from transport, how do you know these logs are responsibly sourced.
Bad on so many levels.
