Needing some new slippers, something I've never bought but always get for Christmas.

I wreck them by walking out to the drive and garden in winter for stuff and I'm needing new ones, being 6 months till Christmas I'm not for waiting.

I'm expecting the fancy SRT climbers to be wearing some £200 artic jobs and the charcoal firewood guys to have wooden clogs.  So this thread will either be tumble weed or not!

thanks !

North face slippers! My missus got me a pair three or four years back, still like new, often leave them on when going down to lock the gates in the evenings or feeding the chickens in the morning, going out for firewood etc. They're great! Will take a pic when I'm in for lunch, they're machine washable too.

I've got a pair of wooden clogs. Swedish. They're excellent. Ideal for going outside for quick errands like locking up, getting logs or getting the washing in. Not soft and cosy obviously so no good as slippers inside, but if you got some as well you could avoid wrecking the slippers.
