Clearing saw vs chainsaw

Clearing saw ( if its a good one , eg Husqvarna etsc ) will cut up to 4" dia with out having to bend over . Anything much over that its a chainsaw bent over or a purpose built machine you can drive .

Removing all Sitka, leaving all else downy birch larch and other planted trees. It was besides a wind farm and previous crop spruce were removed to reduce wind shear., but the site reseeded exceptionally well with spruce, hence why we were there.
