They are durable tools the gränsfors axes i still got my gränsfors camping i got from my fahter when i was 5 years old, i changed the handle and gave it some tlc and now it's ready for when my son can handle it :)

Since an axe is much lighter than my tractor I think you should come to me. Unless Woodfuel want to bring a 16tonner like mine to a show this year and let me use it to kick your ass.LOL

Well after reading this thread i think i may have to buy one now!!......Not to chop logs with of course! Just to look nice and shiny:biggrin:

Im going to back the axe, i think for easy straight wood there quicker, aswell as theraputic, and keeps you warm and fit

I wonder what the other half would say if i said "sorry love we're not goin out for valentines day this year,ive bought an axe".......hmmmmmm? haha.

 

Not sure weather to buy one of those little forest axes or go all out for the big ass splitting maul!
