im doing ND Forestry and i need to do 240 hours work experience, i get paid £5 an hour which works out about £40 a day normally, so in the same boat, im doing what i love though so im not complaining at all, some people work for free to get there 240 hours.

Most work placements through colleges dont pay at all, this is the case at my college anyway.

I think 40 is fine if your providing your own saw and travelling a fair distance, at least your covering costs.

& think in the future you might be the one training guys would you pay top bucks to someone on work experience?

dont want to sound harsh but we've all been there, just make sure you do well all the best:thumbup:
