Being tolerant of discomfort is fine, but I'd rather not be distracted by unnecessary pain when I need to concentrate. As Steve Bullman said, tree harnesses are padded (with wide straps) for good reason.

Thanks guys I appreciate your feedback and input. I was expecting more of a trouncing than I received so I guess everything turned out better than I thought. Now who wants to hire me? Just kidding.
