the problem I've found with Arboricultural services is the majority don't even not what Arboriculture is or what a Arborist does.

If i say I'm a tree surgeon most people know what i mean but, i feel, its a bit outdated and not in line with modern Arboriculture.

I welcome opinions though hence the poll.

I'm thinking about names too. I'd love to be called XX arborist or arboricultural services- sounds more professional and includes more than cutting trees- but 90% domestic clients don't seem to know what arb is... so if domestic 'tree surgery' is your business i don't think an 'arb' name is any good.

I tend to agree, i still get called "the tree man" or "the wood cutter" by some people! Most know what a tree surgeon is but havent a clur what Arboriculture is.
