500i full wrap

I would advise if you are getting a wrap make sure to get the deflector that goes with it as it makes a big difference to operations up close and personal ! Stihl did a bit of a job on the wrap for the 500 with added finger support at the join from standard handle to the wrap part and the aforementioned deflector also I understand a harder AV spring option should be coming along which would be a better option as they are a bit soft.

@bigtreedon be lucky if you can find them as i went through this last year and drew a blank getting them in the UK as Stihl UK give no reason but say they are not for the UK market. Spoke to a couple of US dealers who said they can't export thier products as per their agreement with Stihl US. A mate in the US was going to purchase them and send them over but his dealer went bust due to covid so never managed to get them 🙄

Here have seen them half wrap PHO for $1186  all day.  Even heard of a few cheaper.

that's the part number for the 462 full wrap 

i'm sure someone physically checked and it doesn't fit the 500i

 

or does it?
