"Forst" phone scam ?

Any body else getting phone calls from "Forst" pretty sure they are scam calls, asking what chipper you have for "research" and from a mobile number, got one last year and just this minute got another from mobile number 07769165715.

Basically i said not interested and hung up.

You should of stayed on phone longer or just strung them along and found out more.

On the one hand sounds suspicious, on the other hand lots of people working from home.

I guess you could ring Forst office and give them the mobile number to check if they know it.

Didn't you say the Schliesing is for sale though Mick? Dropping back to rely on the Forst?

Looking to run one chipper, in an ideal world it’ll be a TW280.

 

Schliesing sits idle too much, Forst is behaving itself lately after rebalancing the rotor disc and replacing the top roller motor shaft, it’ll be paid off in a month after 5 years, so time for a rethink.

Ah fair enough, maybe if it's behaving itself and 5 years old makes sense to move the Forst on.

TW280 are great chippers! I hired a tracked one a couple of years ago and couldn't believe what it could handle.

There’s a great video of an TR8 side by side with a tracked 280, there’s little between them production wise, it’s the reliability that interests me.
