Actually a full reset to default settings can only be done with the factory software and interface. What we are describing is the AT unit resetting itself from where it was left to the state of the engine now.

What I mean is that if the air filter is stuffed, the AT will set itself to run lean. When the filter is cleaned, the AT will take a few minutes to see the engine is now lean and will reset itself richer when it is cutting under load for minutes.

There is no Stihl like action (running on choke) to go back to default on Huskies!

As Spud says but if using an air line blow from inside out, and max 20psi or you risk blowing the mesh off the frame.

20psi......you are having a laugh, I always give it the full monty, 120psi or whatever the compressor can muster. Don't knock on my door if you paper the workshop in filter mesh but have never seen it to date.

I guess I must have higher regards to Husqvarna engineering than ADW😉😃

I was about to say! Is the reset blowing the top off to prep it for a rebuild! 😂 It sounds like some sort of time attack challenge to cut cookies for 5 minutes straight! Need a good amount of timber ready to go though?

Used to run mine in the woods like that all day snedding conifer   'treat em mean but not tooo lean' K

The AT initial set and reset is clearly explained in the manual that comes with the saw.

You know, the manual?

That thing that comes with the saw but half the people seem to use for roaches or arse paper?

Ignore that anyway, run it on idle for 3 tanks (with a 25:1) because that’s what Grandad said was best....

It’s also like people whining about a saw being shit which they raved about at first.

When you ask what compressor they have they give you a blank look....

Not a dig at the OP, sort the filters, thrash it in some big timber, bar length, for as long as you can stand it, and let us know how you go.
