How do I recognise ash?

I'm not sure I'm getting the best quality electric from Norweb!!!!, I'm sure they are shafting me!!!

 

Can any one tell me what "good" electric looks like???????????

 

I think its blue mate, I remember seeing a blue flash when i was messing about with a light fitting once!!! :laugh1:

yes he was

 

but knowledge comes with experience.

 

personally, i would be more worried about the dryness of the wood and not the species

 

all dry wood burns, and the value is only what the seller sells for and what the buyer is prepared to pay
