Morons.

I'll go now - I don't see any point in continuing a thread with ignoramuses who think criticism and abuse is an appropriate response to a plea for help.

p.s. Sorry if there are too many 'big words' here for some of you.

Now listen... pick up your dummy .. and your rattle .. climb back into your pram and have a really good search and when you find your sense of humour come back and join us.

or having just been described as a moron should that be,

I really can't understand why this thread has got to the level it has, I must be missing something? This guy asked a pretty normal question and got jumped on, why was that?

Carl, it is very very rare you will get a response to a thread like this from me. :001_smile:

All I can say to Wanstronian is if you distrust a seller of logs so badly, go and see the load of logs at the sellers yard. See before you buy, always the best way. :thumbup1:

Then if you are happy with your load of logs and they burn well, stick with your supplier and dont be tempted to go elsewhere if someone offers a cheaper deal.

I think the guy is asking a fair question realy,I mean ,there are a lot of people selling firewood as seasoned/hardwood when it is neither,we have I think talked about this on other threads.

I can sell a couple of yards of exclusively seasoned ash, will travel 30 mile radius of maldon essex if this helps,pm me if you want it.

I think the guy is asking a fair question realy,

yes he was

but knowledge comes with experience.

personally, i would be more worried about the dryness of the wood and not the species

all dry wood burns, and the value is only what the seller sells for and what the buyer is prepared to pay
