I have this hyundai, posted about it before, it's about 5 years old. Doesn't get used much but it works pretty well when it does. It chips very well for what it is, all the important things work you just have to watch for bolts shacking themselves out occasionally...

Engine seems to be a quite close copy of a honda gx390, having looked at the pair of them side by side.

What is the Red bar for? Is it instead of a red mushroom switch on the top?

Yep it’s the safety cut out. Bit tedious if you hit it as you feed stuff in. But otherwise it chips up good 👍

I suppose one could easily disconnect the safety option, but that would defeat having safety on it 😂

I only ask as GreenMech, TW and Jeau Beau don't have a bar. Perhaps they have different regs where they are made? How long and how high is the chute opening?  On another note, did you buy a tracked GreenMech 220 off a tractor dealer near The Balloon pub?

Only just noticed that.  I'd be killing my JB every 30 seconds if I had one of those! I was chipping hawthorn hedge top yesterday morning and hornbeam brush in the afternoon; I don't think the engine would have warmed up fully with that bar it would have been pushed so much!

Overall it works pretty well once you are used to it. No never been to the Balloon pub mate. 👍
