Anyone seen the Oxdale chippers? They do a 13hp Honda engined one, disc chipper that will do 3". Same spec as the tw 13/75 but has a shoot and alot smaller!

Looks good in the vid but a drum chipper is inherantly better for these wee chippers.

That's kinda what I thought mate, I used a 13/75 before and it was ok, just a pain having the hopper so high and dumping the chip on the ground! The Oxdale one is around £2200 New Inc vat and delivery so don't seem too bad. Other option is a gtm, but comes with a chonda engine!

its an 11 min video, not much big stuff and what goes through is a bit small, its dry, could be beech, oak, broadleaf no leaves, see what you think but the m500 looks like it behaves very similarly to my cs, having to hold and re push brash down the shute

Jo Beau rep knows what he's doing but the other fellas haven't a clue how to feed it. Not a good video; M500 will pump thru brash much faster than that if fed right; comes with experience.

not the 500 but the 400. The gravity feed works well not a chuck and duck machine. 20hp rather than the 24hp of the m500.
