look how far back the axle is as with a very small tractor like that if it sundenly shifts the load at speed when tipping you could end up in a mess,

make sure the towing eye is sound and not to worn, these guys are local to me and the kit looks pretty well made, 1.5 Tonne tipping trailer farm compact tractor kubota on eBay (end time 05-Feb-10 17:48:48 GMT)

make sure the chassis and wheels are straight, and wheel bearings are sound, the list weight for that machine is only 907kg so a low trailer would be best so you dont risk turning the tractor over on slopes etc,

I was waiting for someone to mention the towing eye, I had one once years ago while shifting soil around a yard on a job, was a wet day and the soil wouldnt come out of the trailer, while trying to jerk it free the word eye on the trailer jumped off the pick up hitch and the drawbar joined me in the cab, luckily no damage done but needless to say it got a new tow eye on it asap :001_rolleyes:

I bought this 3 tonne trailer for £300 at a farm sale. I pull it with a jd 2140 which

When loaded feels near its limit ( no brakes on trailer ) . I think the tractor is around 80hp. Its a great trailer with a little bit of rot down the sides and a bit of plating on the chassis
