How long were you using techshite bars before you had problems Stubby? I've only used the chainsaw twice and each time the bar chain and clutch cover fell off or went very loose. The first bar I changed as it burned out from no oil reaching the chain, did you encounter that too? Same problems with new bar too which is as you know also a techshite

Oh it was a progressive thing . Started throwing chains after about a weeks use . Took the bar of to clean out the groove and noticed the rails" panting "in and out  .

To create enough vibration to slacken the bar nuts there has to be something serious going on, I come back to a possible main bearing cage broken, or breaking up, how old is this saw? and how much work has it done? Did the dealer who looked at it say what they had done?

The saw is brand new only bought two months from fr jones and sons. The dealor who fixed it said it was a problem with the chain tensioner screw and replaced it. First job I took the saw out too it had problems with it, took it to the dealor to get repaired and took it back out two days ago and all the same problems happening again so only used it twice

Not being funny but if the pump is dispensing oil to the oil channel and it isn't making it to the chain, the oiler hole in the bar is either blocked or the hole doesn't line up with the oil channel - wrong bar.

Have you tried using the bar the other way up.....after clearing the oil hole in the bar.

I can't understand how the nuts are loosening if they are done up tight with a socket and tommy bar. I wouldn't even expect heavy vibration to cause it unless they haven't been done up very tightly.

I agree with what you say Steve, but it's been said there is a stream of oil coming off the bar, the bar nuts have been tightened correctly, where do we go from here, changing the bar adjuster is a waste of time as the bar nuts secure the bar not the adjuster, there is something we are not being told correctly going on, the 560/562 has been out for a good few years, the pump design is pretty basic and I have never heard of a cover, bar and chain falling off.
