Is milling hard on saws?

I’ll be parting with the two mentioned I think and just go for the factory FAC version. Just need to get my finger out and get them advertised.

Maybe look at the variable fac airs out there like the air arms and fx. I could see them being useful when in barns etc

I had a play with an FX impact when I was using the Chrono in the shop the other day. They are tidy bits of kit!

Happy with the R10 ergonomics and accuracy etc and have had a soft spot for BSA,s since I was 13 👍

I have a BSA .177 Cadet that must be 70 years old. It was my dad's and I used to shoot with it when I was a lad, 68 now. I made a new leather piston washer for it a while back and it's still a good gun.

Yep I like bsa as well I’ve had a bsa superstar since I was 15-16 now 52 🤭

So I just went to my dealer and enquired about 881's. I was told in no uncertain terms that it won't pull anything over a 40", milling will kill it, it won't pull a 65" hyperskip and I need to buy an 880... 🤷🏼‍♂️😂
