Yeah, i'm talking inc VAT.

Still a much better price at honeys even if you can’t claim vat. Only and extra £50 quid for a 41” bar and chain for your felling and cross cutting. I would imagine that would cost just over a couple hundred quid to buy a bar and chain like that [emoji106]

Yeah. I didn't really look at them before, just saw on Sam Turner for some reason.

Honeys and FR Jones are the same on price for saws. I think they do the biggest volumes and are just about the cheapest dealers in the country as far as I know.

Depending where you are travelling from honeys new shop is worth a trip.

You legend. When I am ready to purchase (end of next month) they will be my first stop!

Have people had saws shipped to them before? My local delivery guys seem to throw my parcels through some sort of giant washing machine they come so beaten up. I would be worried things would arrive damaged, crankcases all chipped up etc?

It's £1341 through my local dealer with a 36" bar

Go collect in person.

350 mile round day trip it is! [emoji6] I've done it to Scotland before. 16 hour return [emoji23]

Mine landed with no issues all the way from the very far south to the north west, if it did have issues then it would of been a simple phone call and a send back/return at their expense, thats why they have courier insurance or why you pay for courier insurance. Factor your round trip in to the price of the saw, fuel, time, insurance, risk, day off work, driving makes you tired for the day after if your not used to it etc makes it a dear saw in my eyes. Use the courier service, its what its there for!

I kind of agree but assuming it's a good deal it's worth it to me. I've spent so much time in my life returning things that arrived broken that I would much rather go and pick it up. If I don't get a good deal from them then I will get it from my local dealer as they have it for the same price as honeybros

Your call, my purchase came without a single mark on the box, the bar came wrapped in double quilted bubble wrap, and a bag around that. Couldnt fault their service, even got a email the day after saying thankyou for you purchase, any issues please dont hesitate to call. Came with parcelforce 48hr.
