Nah, that woods going to stay there for years and years, its not going to be taken anywhere and put to use

If the wood is just left there to rot all the carbon is going back to the atmosphere. Did he get the cap off the peaky blinders set? Had to laugh when he said 'a few months ago you couldn't see the sky in here'.......sums it up.

To his credit, he's been against HS2 from the start. However, he knows nothing about woodland management. I suspect he's trying to distance himself from brexit.

So, it looks like they are removing ash and dangerous trees near the footpaths? More people walk through, more people donate, more woodland gets purchased? He's upset because they are doing the right thing? got it... 🤔

There could be any number of reasons that work is being carried out, habitat enhancement, tree safety on high use footways, wheel chair access roads, woodland wild flower and raptor forage areas.    Would not  cross his mind to even enquire. K
