Seeking Arb Truck for Hire or Purchase

Hi!

Looking for help or advice!

Placed an order for an arb truck to be converted back in October. The company said it would take about 8 weeks. We accepted and started booking in jobs for when it was due to be ready. Now been told its likely to be late, and if we want we can go elsewhere. Not really an option. Not a lot out there right now. We are wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Does anyone have a arb truck we can rent for a few days in December so we don't let our customers down.

OR is anyone selling an Arb Truck in December and will accept finance? A grafter or a sprinter are our top choices, though not sure we have the luxury to be picky.

Gotta be in the 3.5 ton mark!

Any help much appreciated!

Thank you.

Hire a transit tipper for a week and stick some ply greedy boards on. Needs must.

Should be able to hire a cage sided one and just cable tie some thin plastic to the inside even.

Was going to suggest the same, hire a standard tipper of any size and agree a time frame with your supplier.  Suggest that if they are late, they might like to cover the hire?

was a firm in Leicester, we buy any vans.

They seem to have a few Arb tippers for sale. I was going to buy one but the truck had issues ( someone put ADblue in the diesel) and then another came up else where in the right colour so i went there in the end.

Worth a call.

Or if buying a standard tipper the Southern commercial sales down towards Brighton area is where i ended up getting mine. Awesome customer service. They had some brand new Man tippers which i gather are rebadged Grafters.

Worth a call at least!
