I’ve been offered a 2006 Honda Izy self-propelled mower by the person whose house I’m in the process of buying.

It looks solid and he says it runs well, has had some servicing etc and he’s asking for nigh on £200 it. I get it’s a good quality mower but that sounds like firm money for a 15 year old mower??

Thoughts?

He probably can’t be arsed to move it. Offer £50.

My thoughts. Or he's moving somewhere he doesn't need a mower. I'd take a gamble, say no thanks and hope he leaves it

Apparently it’s sold already to one of the neighbours. I’ve told him I might be asking one of them if I can borrow it when my mower dies!! [emoji23]

I did a bit of hunting around on fleabay and Facebook marketplace and it looks like the asking price was in the right ballpark but not an outright bargain, so I don’t think I’ve missed out.
