Generally I like Sycamores to work on, but the eyes/ears/lungs full of aphids is of dubious added value.

Dead alyanthus- leathal with horizontal cracks and anything that is so rotten that the timber has the structural integrity of a bag of compost!

I spent a week basaling limes for a council and spent all of it covered in aphids and spiders.

Monkey Puzzle has to be the ultimate hate tree, but pretty much most spikey trees like acacias.

Lapsed pollards, particularly poplar and also ash. (If ever there was a genuine case for two rope working, these would be it...)
