Woke up to about an inch of snow in gloucester not alot really, main roads clear bit of slush about. Side roads abit slippy snow more like a dust.

things were starting to melt ...a bit yesterday . 6 degrees by the end of the week in kent ?? .... The flippin met office bulletins change 5 times a day !!

We have about 7cm in Shaftesbury. I drove about half of the 15 miles to work then my boss phoned and called off the day.

 

My Dad was driving down to Plymouth last night and got stuck on telegraph hill outside Exeter. I think he might have been taken to a rescue centre last night.

I sure do hope it improves as its yet another day going all that way into work to be told no Work and no Pay this has happened several times so far let hope the white stuff goes soon as I really enjoy my job.

The weather here today is unbelievable!! Its black ice everywhere. We couldn't even get the van up the drive today and its only the smallest hill ever!!

They've cancled all buses,taxi's ans even the gritters cant travel on the roads!!

Ive never seen anything like this!!

Our yard is quite near the local hospital and all we've heard all morning is the sirens going. The thing is they cant travel on the roads either,especially at any kind of speed.

At one of the local schools the pupils turned up but the teachers dint:biggrin:

Yesterday I walked 1.5 hrs in the snow to get to my missus who had been stuck in her car total mayhem! she spent 4 hrs in her car so took her to work in the hospital this am in the 4x4 can't get over the idiots! I drove through lanes just passable to a 4x4 to meet a guy trying to do it in a golf. he failed:lol:
