Peter,

a couple of guys have said that the Meindl airstreams come up really big, and that they had wished they'd gone for a half size smaller.

How did you find yours?

Cheers

Dave, I'm normally a 9 UK, but for some reason my Airstreams turned up as a UK 8 1/2, EURO 43. They fit perfectly. I'm loving them so far, and am expecting better longevity than my Haix (see Rich's 2 year guarantee thread).

Dont know, not too sure what size my airstreams are actually. They are a little bit too big really, but the next size down cramps my toes. The Zermatts on the other hand fit almost perfectly, but I have trouble finding boots that fit me really well anyway so perhaps thats not such a good recommendation.

but I suffered them for 2 weeks and will never wear them again

Ok so I thought I'd try the geckos one last time this morning, but with a more traditional style of boot. The difference was quite amazing....I felt none of the discomfort described earlier.

....in fact, I'll take the first £50 of anyone willing to drive to Macclesfield to pick them up - dont ask me to post them because its just not worth it to me.

Think I'd better withdraw that offer.

Mmmmm, I like red..................

Ended up with the Zermatts, couple of the guys have plumbed for the Airstreams.

Thanks for the very prompt service Mr Jones :thumbup1:

I had already left work and was toodling on down the road when I spied the goods wagon heading towards where I had just come from.

A quick u-turn and I headed the driver off, so as I could get me pair of gerrards to wear out and about town for the weekend :001_tongue:

Best pillion I've had the pleasure to chaufuer :001_smile:
