I shouldn't have to, I've paid my money (as far as I know) and want everything in place. Why should I do any more?

Don’t then. Why bleat on about it though? I was simply suggesting an option to calm your nervous driving disposition (are you constantly worried about being pulled by the police - seems a bit odd?).

I think you've missed the point, 'we' pay for these services and they aren't upto scratch. And no I don't worry about being stopped by the police, I've nothing to hide.

If that’s all you have to worry about it’s not a bad life! First world problem......

So, what you're saying is you don't mind paying for a service you aren't getting?

Send me some money and I won't come to do the job.

I’m not sure what service they haven’t provided? You applied for and paid for road tax, they emailed you to say your vehicle is taxed, the money hasn’t left your account yet but it will. There is nothing to worry about.

I'm not worried, I just think it's a shit service. I thought everything was electronic/instantaneous these days?... 6 days in.

I attempted to book a car, that I bought in England and drove back late last year, in for MOT here in NI.

Bollocks to that, per the NI website, you get an automatic years free MOT, but NO written notification.

Except I am reasonable sure, from past experience, that because this car is still on English plates(though taxed here in NI on my return) that my car will not be known to the NI MOT system.

So I wont be getting the automatic 12 month extension.

And the ph number provided on their Covid update page rings and rings and rings and rings, and rings unanswered.

Not that it bothers me, but still.

If the UK MOT expires before the end of this month it'll be extended for 6 months (for now) and you could check over here?

Check the MOT history of a vehicle from 2005 onwards, including if it passed or failed, its mileage and why it failed

Yep, mine is due a MOT, but it's been put back til December.
