Early Communism was bad and it still is, Where is it actually good?  Oh thats right, 'good' communism not been tried yet.  

 

Early Capitalism was not great yet its where the world wishes they could live and immigrated to for the opportunities it offered. Its still not great, but its the best we have by a long shot. Slavery was a very bad period of history, lets call that period of history 10,000BC to 2020 CE, because its clearly still happening today, just not so much in Capitalist Countries.  We should keep in mind Commie Countries had Slavery too, each and every member of their populations plus all the actual slaves they made use of, as much so if not more than the West. And Who sold the Slaves to the East and the West? Surely they are as much to blame as the recipients?

 

But the West has strives to make advancements, we're still the chosen destination of many in the 3rd world. So is Capitalism the answer?   Churchill sums it up nicely I think?

Yet we have an NHS, just think about that. Regardless who you are, what your income is, whether you choose to earn a living or not you have free at the point of use world class health care, all courtesy of Capitalism and Capitalist Countries.

No, I'm just a whiner, haven't progressed to problem solving yet - we will be paying for covid bailout for a long time - like you said. A few hundred billion could have done a lot of other stuff for the country with all that

the money of the rich isn't available for a solution I agree. It's theirs and they should be allowed to keep it. Unless....
